An Adventurer's Tale
Dwarves in Malor are not much different than how 4ed describes them. The largest omission is the love of drink that Dwarves share. Dwarven ale brings Dwarves together and when a Dwarven party gets going that dark and dour continence melts away once a few ales have been consumed. While still not as jovial as a halfling, Dwarves will party into the wee hours of the morning if presented with a good occasion, or a free keg of ale. other races except for possibly the elves are not recommended to partake in drinking contests with Dwarves. A Dwarf has a secondary liver that while evolved to help process all the heavy metals that a dwarf consumes during his life under the mountain, serves double duty as an alcohol sponge that leaves a Dwarf sober quickly, and able to imbibe massively.
There are rumors outside the mountains of Dwarven fire whiskey. Dwarves are tight lipped about this spirit and will deny its existence to an outsider. If a non Dwarf is asked to partake with a member of Dwarven society it is considered a great honor. One must be careful though, as even a single shot has the chance to blister the tongue and throat, and multiple drinks can have lethal consequence.
